Feeling Good Enough To Complete an ‘Easter’ Project
April 9, 2012
Wow! I sure am feeling better, now that I am juicing, doing ‘MORE’ of my AIM products, and enjoying this beautiful weather! My energy levels are going through the roof – more like where they were when I was much younger. LOL And I must confess I am loving it!
I just thought I would share a couple of pictures with you. I have a client and her sister has cancer (3rd time and in her 80’s), so we got together and decided I would make her a yard butterfly after she admired one. Well, I got it finished in just over a week (please remember that I have my herbal business, my hypnotherapy practice, and my touch therapy ministry, all of which are full time) if only because I had all the supplies on hand
After discovering Faye’s favorite colors, which are yellow & green, and after taking a look at what she had been so delighted with (see the picture of the yellow & black butterfly below), I was determined to make her something that would really get her excited.
Take a look at the end results, and please feel free to tell me what you think.
I am considering making these Yard Art Butterflies for those who are battling with cancer, as a way of giving them encouragement, and to remind them of their upcoming transformation/metamorphosis – whether through a process of healing or death. Like the butterfly they are facing a great deal of change – both of which can and should be both liberating and beautiful. Think about that as you view the butterflies 😉
I might be a little prejudiced but I really think this butterfly is PRETTY! I’m going to make a fairy and a dragonfly for our yard if I can fit it into my schedule.
I already have another butterfly to make for a customer. LOL
Let me know what you think of it. BTW I think doing all that bending and stretching over this 4’X4′ Butterfly while I was drawing and painting it helped me to drop a few of the inches that I have lost on my waist. LOL
As for the tendons, that might be a different story – they can take a very long time to heal – especially when you won’t stay off of it. LOL
Today is not a weigh-in day, so I’ll have to wait and see how that is going at a later date. I hope you’ll join me on the journey, and let me know about your health & weight-loss success.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Blessings & Hugs
